[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices have moved another leg lower as the Dollar Index climbs to a session high. The greenback is now up 0.2% against a basket of foreign currencies.
Despite the dollar's upward move, gold remains largely undeterrted. The yellow metal is up 0.7% to $1208.00 per ounce. Oil is still under pressure, though; crude contracts are pricing oil 2.5% lower at $76.45 per barrel.
Treasuries have turned higher. The benchmark 10-year Note had been down some 10 ticks earlier, but it is now sporting a slight gain.
